The Story Behind Empreso : From Side Hustle to Prosperity Network

Some of the best ideas don’t come from boardrooms or brainstorms. They grow organically, out of necessity, purpose, and lived experience. That’s exactly how Empreso was born.

It all started while I was building my property portfolio — initially as a side hustle alongside my full-time job. Like many professionals, I was looking for a way to invest smartly, diversify my income, and build something meaningful for my family’s future. What began as a passion project soon became a powerful vehicle for financial freedom. Eventually, my income from property matched — and even surpassed — my salary from full-time employment.

That tipping point led me to a pivotal decision: I stepped out of the traditional career path to focus fully on my property ventures. But something unexpected happened next.

As friends and acquaintances saw my results, they started to reach out — asking for advice, introductions, and help securing the kind of deals I was negotiating for myself. I began sourcing properties for others, leveraging my knowledge and negotiation skills to help them secure below-market-value deals, navigate auctions, or identify high-potential investments. It was informal at first, but the demand kept growing.

In the process, I was regularly introducing clients to mortgage brokers. But many of them would come back to me — not their broker — with questions, doubts, or confusion about their finance options. They trusted me, not just because I had walked the path, but because I explained things in a way that made sense to them.

That’s when it hit me: why not become qualified myself?

I took the leap and earned my CeMAP qualification, becoming an authorised mortgage adviser. That allowed me to offer a seamless blend of property search services and mortgage advice under one roof. For almost a decade, I ran what I now call a dual-competency boutique consultancy, helping clients not just find the right property, but also secure the right financial structure to afford it and grow their own portfolios with confidence.

But the journey didn’t stop there.

The Spark of Something Bigger

Over time, I realised that my real passion wasn’t just in closing deals — it was in empowering people. I found myself in deeper conversations — with clients, mentees, friends — about how they too could break free from the rat race, build financial literacy, and gain autonomy through property and finance.

People wanted more than a one-time service. They wanted to learn. They wanted to build. They wanted to become what I had become.

That’s when the idea of Empreso took shape — not just as a consultancy, but as a network. A platform. A community for those who wanted to take the leap, step into self-employment, and start their own journey in property, finance, or both.

I consulted with several experts, mentors, and professionals in the field. The timing felt perfect. The convergence of two major trends confirmed it:

The rise of the gig economy, where people are increasingly choosing freedom over fixed roles. The dawn of AI and automation, which is disrupting traditional jobs but also creating new, scalable, tech-enabled business models.

The message was clear: if there was ever a time to offer people a practical, proven, and purposeful way to start their own business, this was it.

Building the Empreso Network

Empreso was born as a purpose-led network, giving people the tools, training, and support to build their own self-employed careers in property and finance.

We took the best of my decade-long experience — the dual-competency model — and turned it into a framework others could follow. Whether someone wanted to become a property search consultant, a mortgage adviser, or both, we provided the guidance, compliance, and mentoring needed to make it happen.

But we didn’t stop there.

As the needs of our clients evolved, we added another natural layer: estate planning. After all, what’s the point of building wealth if you don’t protect and pass it on? Today, Empreso offers a holistic suite of services covering:

Property Sales & Buying Services Mortgage & Protection Advice Estate Planning (Wills, Trusts, POA, Legacy)

But more than that, we offer a path. A model where anyone — with the right mindset and willingness to learn — can build a thriving business, backed by infrastructure, mentorship, and a growing ecosystem of like-minded partners.

Why Empreso Matters Now More Than Ever

We live in a time of uncertainty. Traditional career paths no longer guarantee security. People are waking up to the need to create their own opportunities.

Empreso exists to bridge the gap between aspiration and action. We empower people to:

Monetise their knowledge and networks Deliver real value to clients in their communities Build income streams that align with their lifestyle Create a business with purpose, flexibility, and growth potential

We are not another course. We are not just a platform. Empreso is a launchpad for purpose-driven professionals — combining mentorship, technology, community, and compliance into a turnkey system.

A Final Word

What started as a side hustle has become a movement.

My story isn’t unique — it’s just early. And I believe many more people can walk a similar path, with the right support and the right model.

That’s why Empreso exists. To turn everyday individuals into trusted professionals. To help them build businesses that last. And to foster a community that uplifts, connects, and delivers prosperity — one partner, one client, one family at a time.

If this speaks to you, maybe it’s time we talk.
